Vinyasa is a Sanskrit word which means βto place(vi) in a special way(nyasa)β.
Vinyasa Yoga is a practice in which you go from one asana to another in a coordinated and
connected way with proper breathing coordination. The postures are connected in such a way as to
link breath pattern in the correct way and one seamlessly goes from one posture to another one.
Vinyasa is equally beneficial in increasing strength and flexibility. However, it is always
recommended to start with Hatha Yoga to gain basic flexibility and strength for practice of Vinyasa.
After a session of Vinyasa practice of an hour, the person feels completely relaxed. This style of Yoga
Practice is also recommended for people looking for weight loss and therapy for Depression and
anxiety.
